This is what a manuscript edited in track changes might look like. This one required a lot of work, especially in the areas of clarity and flow; manuscripts that do not require as much copyediting will look much cleaner. Each kind of change, as well as queries/comments, is color coded according to type and reviewer, making it easy to differentiate who made which changes or comments. In this manuscript insertions are red and underlined, deletions are red and indicated with strikethrough, text that has been moved is green and double underlined, and format changes and queries/comments appear in balloons to the right. All of these settings, as well as what you choose to see on the page, can be adapted to your preferences in the feature options menu. Queries/comments must be addressed one at a time. Changes can be addressed individually, or you can choose to globally accept or reject all of them all at once.
